Get on the Everything Plus plan (same as Everything plan, but $10 cheaper, replaced the SERO plan).
http://delivery.sprint.com/m/p/sprint/epc/epclanding.asp

You'll need a "friend" from Sprint. You can go down to your local store and ask for a business card and that employee's CID (last 3 digits of employee ID). Alternatively, you could use the one from here:
http://www.geardiary.com/2008/07/24/sprint-everything-plus-login-revealed-in-blog-post/

<quote>
Everything your phone, PDA or smartphone can do nationwide — text, surf, email, listen, watch, find and, of course, talk — on one simple plan.
This plan includes

* Unlimited data and messages: Web surfing, email, GPS Navigation, Sprint Music, Sprint TV®, BlackBerry® Internet Services (BIS), text, pictures, video
* Nationwide long distance and no roaming charges.
* Unlimited mobile to mobile, night calling starting at 7 p.m. and weekends.
* More about what’s included in this plan

Anytime Minutes - Monthly Price - Additional Anytime Minutes
500 		 - $59.99 		 - 45¢/min
1000 	 - $79.99 		 - 40¢/min
</quote>

Failing that, read consumerist.com for ideas.

I was playing around on the internet looking for some artwork for some of my albums on WMP, when I came across a picture for one of my Toonami albums. It then occured to me, Toonami has been around for a hell of a long time. Can anyone here remember it all started with Moltar and then replaced by bobble-headed Tom and The Absolution? So many good cartoons for us anime fans: Ronin Warriors, Cowboy Bebop, and Gundam Wing, just to name a few... Can anyone here remember the days when cartoons were actually good cartoons at all?

My 6700's muni USB port started having problems about four months ago, or about 20 months since I bought it. When I first got it, I always synced it using the cradle but stopped because it seemed like a tight fit when removing it, to the point that even then I was worried about the port wearing out prematurely.

Although I have no problem charging it using the charger (rather than the cradle), syncing has become difficult. It probably won't be long before I have to do all syncing with Bluetooth.

Whatever phone I buy to replace the 6700 probably will have the same problem, so I'm wondering if there's a way to prevent that. For example, could I use a very, very fine brush to put Crazy Glue or model cement in the gap between the mini USB port and the phone's case? Obviously I need to keep the material out of the port itself. But if I can do it, would filling that gap reduce the port's wiggle room to the point that it lasts longer on my next phone?

I just bought 3 PPC6700s for the family. I found out that you have to HARD RESET the units if they have been previously
used because this stopped me from using my own private Router to connect to the cells. However, I could easily hook all the cells
from totally unprotected wireless Routers from the neighbors. I checked all the settings and Network Cards to use assigned IP
and all the things listed on the notes for Wi-Fi. I permuted all possible protection options of unprotected, to WEP, to all the flavors of WPA. Bottom line, some "magic" was present that stopped 5 different routers from connecting
in OPEN/DISABLE security. As soon as I did a HARD RESET, it started working immediate in unprotected and in WPA-PSK modes.

Does anyone have a clue as to why this could happen? Much thanks.
Ted Cooper

I am sorry no one ever answered your question. I haven't had this difficulty with my ppc-6700, but I had to call customer service to get one of my cell phones straightened out after I swapped them around. Sprint had to make some sort of changes on their end. It was working almost immediately with no input from me. I hate calling them, but sometimes you get lucky and actually get a knowledgable person.

The problem is that the volume control on the outside of my phone is broken. What I would like to be able to do is reassign the two soft keys directly next to where it was to be the new volume up/down. Making the IE button the Vol Down button and the Record button the Vol Up button. Since I don't ever use these buttons this seems like a great idea to me. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

When I click the link to add a new connection my only options are bluetooth, Cellular modem, and Irda. I shouldn't have to do this, should I?
i enjoyed my ppc6700 while i had it and will always have fond memories of it.
but my contract was up and wanted something thinner and newer. i sold my 6700 for $100 and only paid 130 for the instinct so i didn't really have to give too much for it.

the gps and touch screen work very well. the visual vm is also a nice change.
the browser is a little buggy, but there is a software update on monday which is suppose to address that.
overall i like it.
