My 6700 was two phones ago. I need to delete this account but the FAQ has no information on how to do that. Surely there is a way. I mean this site is for a phone that hasn't been manufactured or sold in years.

Nope,

The orginal version of the phone had keys with holes and lensed characters so LED light could come through, early on UT Starcom changed the design to solid keys.

i use the keyboard on my xv6700 a lot. but the problem is that when im typing in a not so bright area, i can't see the numbers and special characters. is there a registry hack or something to make them light up as the letters do

anyone know what they are replacing the 6700 with if your phone craps out on you/lose/dies/stolen by aliens?

ive heard everything from a 6800 to the touch to the touch pro since its the only upgrade with slide out keyboard if no 6800s available...

I got a free Sprint PPC6700 and I have Alltel service. I want to use this phone with my current service. I've searched the forums and haven't seen any questions like this, so I apologize if this is a repeat. But.. does anyone know how to or if I can do this? I'm new to the website but has had my 6700 for 2 years now and looking to upgrade. I promise to chime in with some REALLY GOOD QUESTIONS. I have looked over the site and found some great info for this phone.

I am currently trying to find out how I can put together an email list of friends (a group - 1 click) to send my jokes to and other funny stuff (without using outlook)??? Is there a way this can be done?? please forgive me if this has been asked and answered - I just havent found that info yet (hehe)

I recently upgraded to 3.3 and everything works fine except for BT. When I turn on BT the light will flash blue for a few seconds and then stop. The BT never actually comes on though. I have searched several sites including this one and cant find a similar problem. I was thinking that possibly a registry value got tweaked. Anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone have a list of correct registry values that I could look at and compare them to whats on my phone?
