If you're not using Orb, you don't know what you're missing.

Quick Explaination: Orb is software that you load on your PC that allows you to share all your multimedia files (picture, movies, mp3) to your mobile device.

Basically you load the software on your pc, then when you're out and about, go to: http://my.orb.com, login with your username and password, and voila, you have access to your own streaming content. I was riding down I35 yesterday watching Friends on my 6700, it was amazing.

I get a "Can not open URL" msg when I try to open something using my PPC.

The files are all AVI.

I was thinking that maybe something was not configed right on Home PC. However I have been able to connect and open on my work PC.

I have made a few tweaks in my PPC useing TWEAK2k or whatever it is and useing Pocket Mechanic to clean up files.

Is there anywhere I may have to look for configureing for XVID and or DIVX ?

What media player are you using?

i use it..but dont know how to take advantage of the live tv feauture? the tutorials kinda suck on th esite and dont really specify what you need to have or do in order to use the live tv feature.

I don't use it for that. I just use it to watch movies and TV shows I have saved on my harddrive. Sorry.

hows the stream quality on yours leperous?

Pretty good. I'm on a cable modem with 1meg up at my house. Streaming movies, etc, it gets a little laggy here and there, but for the most part, its pretty stinking good. When I'm on EVDO I get around 50-82K streaming speeds.

Mine works great for streaming audio and not too bad for video. I've got DSL at home with half megabit upstream. I can do videos but obviously I get better results over wifi than EVDO. This new phone makes me want to buy all kinds of new toys like slingbox and tivo...I feel my wallet getting lighter already :-/

I've got Tivo, but its like 5 years old...before the networking capabilities and TivoToGo. But I'm thinking about upgrading!
